Bobbi Nikles, founder and longtime director of fiddlekids.

A versatile musician with a special interest in Appalachian, Celtic, and jazz fiddle styles, Bobbi currently performs with the Black Brothers, Douce Ambiance, and Curlew. She has performed with Melanie O'Reilly, Wake the Dead, and many contradance bands. Her CD "Fire in the Air" was released in 2010. She inspires with her warm and creative teaching style, melodic playing, and her infectious love for the fiddle."




Myra Joy began playing cello at six years old and has a degree from San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She is a founding member of Elameno Quintet and Sweet Moments of Confusion.

Myra has had the pleasure of collaborating with many musicians and ensembles including: Kitka, The Black Brothers, Hans York, Melanie O'Reilly, Druid Sister's Tree Party, the pickPocket Ensemble, and Hamed Nikpay. Myra has participated in masterclasses and festivals with cellists such as Stephen Geber, Richard Aaron, Nathaniel Rosen, and Peter Reijto, and studied privately with Debbie Tandoc, Peter Gelfand, Page Smith, Andor Toth, and Jean-Michel Fonteneau.

Hammond organist, pianist and keyboardist Eamonn Flynn was born into a musical family in Dublin, Ireland. He first came to prominence as keyboardist on the 12 million selling movie soundtrack The Commitments, and toured with Commitments singer Andrew Strong. Now living in San Francisco, California he has gone on to record and tour worldwide with numerous artists including Michael Franti and Spearhead, Evelyn 'Champagne' King, Elvin Bishop, Coco Montoya, Michelle Shocked, Pee Wee Ellis, Donald Harrison, Maria Muldaur, Tony Lindsay (Santana), and a 12 year stint with Meters drummer Zigaboo Modeliste.

Eamonn plays gospel organ at St. Mark Institutional Baptist Church in San Francisco and has previously been organist at True Hope COGIC, Bell Chapel CME in San Francisco, Greater Miracle COGIC in Oakland and Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Richmond. He also toured the public schools as part of the San Francisco Symphony's AIMS program and has performed as a session musician on countless recordings. His original band Under has had music placed on TV shows Ugly Betty and Moonlight and he produced the soundtrack for the movie 'Beached'.

Ciara Duggan is from San Francisco and is a senior at Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory. She dances competitively with the Butler-Fearon-O’Connor School of Irish Dance and is currently ranked 4th in the Western Region and 13th in North America. She is a five-time World Qualifier and competed at the World Championships in March 2013. Ciara was a dancer in Take the Floor 2012, an Irish entertainment production at The Helix in Dublin, Ireland. Her credits include dancing with The San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival, The Presidio Dance Theatre, and The Black Brothers Band.
